Jean Piaget created highly influential theories on the stages of mental development among children, becoming a leading figure in the fields of cognitive theory and developmental psychology.
Piaget's theory of cognitive development proposes 4 stages of development. Penny Kelly expands upon this theory...
Sensorimotor stage: birth to 2 years
Consciousness - your brain cells will be encoded with very specific frequencies - hearing smelling touching/concrete
Preoperational stage: 2 to 7 years (mental operations)
Consciousness - you enjoy learning new things - becoming creative using previous stage information / Abstract - imagination capacity developing - creating preliminary information networks in the brain

Concrete operational stage: 7 to 11 years
Practice making things, baking, building, creating... Appling information you have learned during previous stages. You should be able to survive on your own. Common sense
If concrete operations fail you become dependent on the state, parents...
copes well with a variety of situations.
Formal operational stage: ages 12 to 21 years
Start moving away from their parents. If formal operations are unsuccessful that individual will settle for the structures and routines and solutions that the government
Act impulsively and don't consider all possible outcomes of their actions.
A successful person makes an effort to create his or her own structures. Attempts complex activities and massive goals and then they do it.
Concrete Intelligence: 21-35 years
Consciousness has to be employed to make good life decisions. (Little voice inside your head - Dreams that will indicate where you are headed)
There's a feedback system out there that is talking to you and if you listen to it you will not make any major mistakes.
The person begins to develop the true spiritual self where the big spiritual journey really begins.
Focusing on joy and health and are willing to experience new experiences and ideas for themselves.
It's about the passion where your heart is and you apply that intelligence to make real-life decisions.
When you don't listen to that little voice to don't raise your vibration.
They believe there is something out there that is bigger than me and it is alive and intelligent and they respond to that.
The person who doesn't get to this point and ignores their little voice becomes temperamental, selfish and has no trust in themselves or anyone else. They experience the world happening to them rather than them creating their world. They feel like they have no voice and no power.
Formal Intelligence: 35-50 years
You being to explore what can I do through the practice of inner stillness. The more you practice inner stillness the more your consciousness and emotional intelligence expands.
You reach power and you reach humility.
People that don't reach this stage are following the ego instead of following their higher self.
Still expecting to make stuff happen without risking anything and working with the universe. Life is boring, things are never enough. They blame everyone else for anything that goes wrong. They think of themselves as victims, feeling tormented, anxious and fatigued.
Transcendence Stage: 50 years and up
Deep sensitivity, fluid awareness, self-transformation, expansion of their boundaries
discover joy and good health. You know your power and use your power and are committed to love.
People who don't go through all the stages feel deep disappointment. If they haven't taken responsibility for themselves they grieve; reality becomes unattractive as their body becomes unattractive thus they
grieve the loss of their youth. Feel tired old and discouraged
chapter 24 and 25
The sequence of the stages is universal across cultures and follows the same invariant (unchanging) order. All children go through the same stages in the same order (but not all at the same rate).
